Clone to Steal Eggs Pets Hub

How eggs become Cash machines — slots, mutations, code pets, and upgrade priorities.

Pets Hub

Pets are the bank account of Clone to Steal Eggs. Every clone steal, treadmill tick, and rebirth decision ultimately feeds the question: are your active slots earning enough Cash per second? This pets hub explains how eggs become animals, how slots work, which free pets matter, and how to think about mutations before you open the tier list for rankings.

From egg to income

  1. Clones (or you) steal an egg from a Speed-gated zone.
  2. The egg gestates on your plot.
  3. Interact to hatch it into a pet.
  4. Place the pet into an active slot so it generates Cash.
  5. Spend Cash on treadmills, base multipliers, and clone portals.
  6. Rebirth for a permanent Cash multiplier that buffs those same pets.

If eggs pile up unhatched, you are leaving income on the table. Hatch between AFK sessions. If slots are full of weak animals, replace them — do not hoard for a museum.

Active slots and upgrades

Only pets in active slots earn. Expanding animal slots (through Cash upgrades or scripted auto-upgrade features) raises your ceiling. Before buying another slot, make sure your current ones already hold the best pets you own. A new empty slot helps only when the next hatch is ready.

Base upgrades near the plot entrance multiply pet Cash. They are easy to skip when Manage Clones is flashing upgrade buttons, yet a base multiplier buffs every slot forever — similar in spirit to rebirth stacking.

Code pets you should always claim

From the codes hub:

  • Yeti (Magia) — ~30,000 Cash/s carry pet for new and mid accounts
  • Lizard (Release) — ~35 Cash/s filler that still beats an empty slot

Place both immediately after redeeming. Yeti often stays equipped long after Lizard is replaced.

Rarity, mutations, and size

Community tools track many rarity tiers from Common through SPECIAL, plus mutations such as Normal, Gold, Diamond, Radioactive, and Rainbow, and sizes Baby / Big / Huge. Practical advice:

  • Read the Cash/s number first, rarity second
  • Keep mutated pets even when the species seemed weak as Normal
  • Huge eggs are worth hatching; clones handle the fetch either way
  • Auto-sell plain Commons once mid-zone eggs flow — configure in manage clones

How pets connect to Speed and clones

Stronger pets → faster Cash → better treadmills → higher Speed → better clone zones → better eggs → stronger pets. Breaking any link stalls the loop. If income feels stuck:

  1. Compare equipped pets to the tier list.
  2. Confirm clones target a zone you actually clear (train Speed).
  3. Buy a base multiplier or clone count upgrade.
  4. Rebirth if the cost is cheap.

Manual hunting vs clone automation

Clones excel at volume. Manual steals help when you want a specific egg type clones ignore. After a manual trophy steal, hatch immediately and compare Cash/s before locking the slot. Optional automation that auto-equips best pets is covered on scripts — useful only if you already understand which animals deserve protection from auto-sell.

Battle pass pets

Quest rewards can drop pets and potions. Claim battle pass ladders during downtime so free animals fill slots while you AFK train. They rarely beat Magia Yeti early, but they replace Lizard-level fillers quickly.
